When I started with American Security Mortgage Corp (ASMC) in 2014, my goal was to build a modern mortgage business that helps our clients purchase their dream homes quickly and confidently. I also wanted to build a company that helped make our community a better place. Through time, we’ve morphed into a new brand within ASMC, LendScout.

I’m proud of how the LendScout team has met the above mission over the last few years. But as the business has grown, we’ve recognized an opportunity to recommit to these goals with greater clarity and determination.

With this in mind, and because you—our clients and partners—are our most important stakeholder, I’d like to share LendScout’s new North Star with you:

Provide the best home-buying experience and use our business as a force for good.

These goals may appear simple, so I want to be clear—this North Star represents our deep commitment to our customers and our communities.

To elaborate briefly, we know the home-buying experience can be intimidating, nerve-wracking, and impersonal. In the face of this all-too-common experience, our goal is to make the process more human, serving our clients with care, reliability, and speed.

In addition, we are recommitting to using our success as an opportunity to do good for our communities and the planet. More specifically, we will invest our time and resources towards 3 specific areas: sustainable climate-resilient communities, financial well-being, and access to housing.

We understand these are major commitments, and we have not chosen them lightly. The LendScout team is eager to do this work, and it’s my hope that we make you proud to work with us.
